Synsys: A European expertise Network on building the synapse
SynSys scientists have attracted money from the EU to do novel work on the synapse. Only by bringing together a large European group of specialists, each having their own expertise in synapse experiments and computation
SynSys can achieve a new level of understanding of the synapse. In addition, SynSys will collaborate closely with other consortia that study the synapse and the brain.
The consortium has 16 partners spread over Europe that work together to understand the function of the synapse.
